About Traci Hunter Abramson
"Traci Hunter Abramson, a former Central Intelligence Agency officer, was born in Arizona, where she lived until moving to Venezuela for a study-abroad program. After graduating from Brigham Young University, she worked for the CIA for six years until she resigned to raise her family. She credits the agency with giving her a wealth of ideas and skills needed to survive her children's teenage years.
Traci is a popular writing instructor and keynote speaker and enjoys sharing her knowledge with aspiring writers. After twenty-six years of coaching her local high school swim team, she retired and now spends her time traveling, which she loves.
She has written more than forty best-selling novels and is the 2022 and 2023 Silver Falchion Award Mystery/Suspense finalist, 2022 Rone Award finalist, and eight-time Whitney Award winner, including Best Novel of the Year in both 2017 and 2019. She also received the 2021 Swoony Award for Best Mystery/Suspense Romance.
