Rex Pickett is the critically acclaimed author of the novel Sideways, which was adapted into the iconic film of the same title. There were some sections that captured the magic of the original, but there were just as many (if not more) that were cringeworthy. The first 2/3 reads like a romance novel for dudes and the last 1/3 is terribly depressing.......more
