Author Bio

Steve Miller earned a degree in economics from Stanford University in 1963 and a law degree from Harvard Law School in 1966. In 1968, he received an MBA in finance from Stanford Business School. Previously the chairman and chief executive officer of Delphi Corporation, he became executive chairman on January 1, 2007. He also serves as chair of the Delphi Strategy Board, the company's top policymaking group, and Delphi's board of directors. He has held positions at a variety of companies, including Bethlehem Steel, Federal-Mogul, Reliance Group Holdings, Morrison Knudsen, Ford Motor Company, and the Chrysler Corporation. He is a native of Portland, Oregon.
