I found this book to be more of a history lesson than a book to enjoy reading. It was hard after seeing movies about the Earp's to read a book about them. I found I was comparing what I had seen in the movies to what I was reading. I think any one with an interest in the Earp's would like this book.......more

I love all of Jane Coleman's novels with history behind them. This one actually based on Allie Earp's actual journals with some artistic liberty. A good read since my family lives in Arizona now I know those areas......more

I love biographies. This is a novel but heavily based on journal kept by Allie Earp wife of Virge Earp, one of the west's most formidable men. It is a love story. Coleman caught Allie's personality and vernacular. Great book!......more
