Peter Ferry is a teacher, writer, and editor. He has written textbooks for Rand McNally and travel pieces for the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun-Times. His short stories have appeared in the New Review of Literature and McSweeney’s, and he has won the Illinois Arts Council Literary Award for Short Fiction. He lives in Evanston, Illinois.

I loved this book. It was hard to put down and I got really involved in the plot and characters. The book accurately reflected the ambiguities, difficulties, and capriciousness of real life and real people, but at the same time, the plot came to a very neat, well-constructed resolution that tied up......more
Not that it matters much, but I'm writing this review for the second time. The first review I ended up deleting the following morning realizing it was utter garbage.
