About The Author

Joy Nicholson was born in Wisconsin and then moved to Palos Verdes, California when she was in kindergarten. She and her brother Jay grew up surrounded by a difficult family life. Much of her family life is reflected throughout her debut novel, The Tribes of Palos Verdes.
