Synopsis

A twisted new thriller by the author of Bad Company: When obsession consumes two people, can they both survive? This audiobook is narrated using advanced digital voice technology for clear, natural-sounding storytelling. Jessica has always kept her distance, never allowing herself to get too close to anyone—until now. Desperate for a connection, she sets her sights on finding a man who will love her no matter what—and she's prepared to do anything to achieve her goal . . . Max is handsome, alluring, and hiding a dangerous secret of his own. What begins as an ordinary pursuit soon spirals into something far darker, and in the confines of a playroom, a twisted relationship begins to unfold and the lines between captor and captive start to blur. But who is truly in control? As two deeply damaged people lock into a dangerous dance of manipulation, desire, and deceit, it becomes clear that there is far more at stake than either of them could have imagined. In the playroom, the rules are unclear, trust is a deadly gamble, and every move could be their last. In this high-stakes game, nothing is certain—except that monsters wear many faces . . .
