I thoroughly enjoyed this intriguing Victorian mystery. Great use of form and perspective in the presenting of ‘evidence’, too. A fascinating read for anyone interested in the history of the detective genre.......more

Good grief -- this book might possibly win the award for most convoluted murder mystery I've ever read, but it's definitely and seriously fun.
