Synopsis

The U.S.S. I found the writing style a bit choppy, but ultimately this was entertaining, if not exactly deep. It was only getting 3 stars until the end. It was not what I expected, and I want it fixed! That's not the feeling I thought I'd have at the end, and now I'm going to have to read the sequel.......more

The review I was mentally writing as I read the book: The Myriad: Tour of the Merrimack #1 falls into the class of Military SF that borrows heavily from Age of Sail novels. I don't by and large enjoy Age of Sail novels, unless they're exceptional, and I don't much enjoy the Military SF that echoes it......more
