This was such a sweet story - I loved the adventures to learn new recipes and try new things, as well as the steadfast relationship between cook and dog. I thought the "solution" to the story was going to be different than it turned out, but I think the real twist was great!......more

Pretty standard kids story. Not a bad read, but maybe, just maybe, a kids book shouldn't use decapitation as a plot point.......more
