About Karen Charlton

Karen Charlton is the bestselling author of the Detective Lavender Mystery Series which is set in Regency London and features Bow Street's Principal Officer, Stephen Lavender and his humorous side-kick, Constable Ned Woods. I really enjoyed this. I am currently working my way through the Sebastian St.. Cyr Regency series so my interest was piqued by a different series set in the time period. But also I read another book about the Bow Street runners recently and knew hardly anything about them so I found it fascinating.......more
