Synopsis

Hand-sled Riley is being pursued by Granden, a wanted man. Granden is wanted on the American side, which is why Riley is fleeing in that direction. But Granden has no intention of letting Riley escape. He has a gun, and Riley does not. He wants a bullet to settle the matter before they leave the Canadian wilderness.

About Dan Cushman

Dan Cushman was born in Osceola, Michigan, and grew up on the Cree Indian reservation in Montana. After graduating from the University of Montana, he pursued a career in mining as a prospector, assayer, and geologist. He received the Golden Spur Award from the Western Writers of America for his novel, The Silver Mountain.
