This is one of the best film autobiographies I have read. Mr. Friedkin must have taken copious notes during the production of his films as his memory of even the smallest of details is remarkable. I have only seen two Friedkin films, Blue Chips which was entertaining enough and the French Connection that I found a bit slow moving for a action thriller.
