Kathryn Whitfield works in the NHS and lives in Staffordshire with her husband and two young children. She started writing her debut psychological thriller, The Family at Number 11, during new-born naps whilst on maternity leave. She is a Curtis Brown Creative alumna and later won a place as a mentee at Kate Nash Literary Agency where she finished drafting her debut novel.

This is another one of those 'new mother' books where are the new mother is frazzled and can't really connect with the baby. Those seem to be a popular theme of the books I've been listening to, lately. This one wasn't any different. Although I really enjoyed the story, the ending took way too long.......more
