Absolutely brilliantly written! Entertaining from track 1 to the very last sentence. This is one of those books that you look forward to encountering traffic while listening to it, just so you can get in one more track. My only regret after discovering this author is that Door Into Summer is the only book by this author carried in the MP3 section of Booksfree.com.

I am a fan of the time-travel genre and I really enjoyed this one. A fun story that's well-written and easy to follow with an ending that wraps everything up nicely. The technical explanations of robotics was a bit over my head, but it did not cloud the story. This is one of those books you have to read a second time because things are going on in the background you don't find out about until later! It's fun to see a story from two different points of view...you'll see what I mean!

I'm a little surprised I don't seem to have posted a review of this one before. I read this book "way back when". I probably read it first when I was in high school or just after. That would probably be the 1960s. I went through a period when I discovered Heinlein and ran through everything I could......more

I didn't read this book with the intention of writing a review, so you'll excuse me if I don't go into great detail. Let me just summarize "the feel" of the book... It is not very often that I read a book that makes me smile the entire time I'm reading it; this is one of them. From the hilarious anac......more

Somewhat unusually for Heinlein, this is a cute, fun book which doesn't try to ladle a bunch of right-wing ideology down your throat, or O.D. you on dubious sex. There's some time travel, a sympathetic main character, a Bad Girl, and a cat who steals the show every time he appears on stage. He even......more
