About Gregg Hurwitz

San Francisco born author, Gregg Hurwitz, has written 21 thrillers that gained best seller status, and two award winning thrillers for teens. Having been published in 32 languages, his books have won numerous literary awards.

Hurwitz has also written screenplays or scripts for major studios, and has also written for major TV networks. He also adds to his prestigious literary resume by being a bestselling comic book writer for Marvel and DC Comics. Basically, he is a very well-rounded writer.

Gregg is also on a mission to end political polarization on college campuses. He has had editorial pieces, concerning that subject, published in The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, and others publications.

Hurwitz was the undergraduate scholar-athlete of the year at Harvard, recognizing his pole vaulting skills. As a Knox fellow, he also played soccer in England. He is married and lives in LA with his wife and two daughters.......and still plays a little soccer.

This book is so well written. The crim writer wakes up in a hospital room with a scar on his head, and blood under his finger nails. A cop is showing him a picture of his dead/murdered girl friend and claims that he is the guilty one. He is later acquitted of the crime, but in his own mind he is not......more

Thie is the second book I've read by this writer. I found I liked this one a bit better than the first I read which while aiming at sort of "action thriller" status didn't really draw me in. I also side stepped a couple more of his books because the synopses seemed to me to show a pattern even a form......more
