This was a reasonable offering in the Railway Detective Series. I enjoyed it but felt there were a lot of strands to this - several unrelated cases to follow. Despite ( or maybe because of ) this book having 3 plots going on, this isn't the best of the set. The circus plot is very enjoyable, while the murdered woman plot sort of just rambles along.
