Quotes

“In a world where buzz words like ‘edgy’ and ‘dark’ dominate the popular culture landscape, Camp Waterlogg is a breath of fresh air at the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. The characters who live here may be misguided or bumbling, but they never hurt anyone. Ridiculous without being malicious.” Chuck O’Donnell, “35 Years of Joyous Laughter”

“Fans of old-time radio classics are in for a real treat. From Joe Bevilacqua and his Waterlogg Productions, makers of the hilarious Misadventures of Sherlock Holmes and Uncle Dunkle and Donnie, comes volume two in the Best of the Comedy-O-Rama Hour. And it couldn’t come at a better time. The current trend in audiobooks is the revitalization of the classic radio program, and all the publishers are doing it…It seems that America is rediscovering the joys of the spoken word. And Joe Bev is adding some very worthwhile products to the market.” Steven Brandt, Audiobook Heaven

The Comedy-O-Rama Hour is one of the most unique and original productions out there these days. With Joe’s talent for different voices, I never know what’s coming next, or what it will sound like. Another thing that makes these shows stand out is that it is quite obvious to the listener that Joe and his cast are having fun making these shows, and that makes them fun to listen to as well. Great parodies of old-time radio icons, classic moments with legendary comedians, and wonderful voice-acting, The Comedy-O-Rama Hour picks up where great radio comedy left off decades ago. Heck, it’s even produced in the Borscht Belt.” Steve Karesh, former program director, Sonic Theater, XM Satellite Radio
