This was a very good Berenstain Bears book. It helps teach children to be aware o nature and be kind to animals but not all animals are meant to be 'pets' and that if they are wild animals sometimes they need our help but need to be turned back out to nature once they are well. Very nicely written.......more

Brother and Sister find a chipmunk, sans mother, and keep it as a pet. Keeping a non-housebroken chipmunk for a pet is harder than it looks. A fun book.......more
