Whew. A very well written body horror story that was a little too body horror-y for me in the end. If you didn't know that Priya Sharma was a medical doctor in addition to being an author, you might not expect such precision. I had a suspicion of where the story was going, and it did indeed go there.......more

This story had a great hook. I liked the main character and his fetish though commonplace in horror fiction seemed to have been elevated and changed enough to hold my attention.
