Tempest in a Tea Room

Freelance artist Delaney Powers has just had a really bad breakup when she receives news that will change her life forever. Astonished to learn that her dearly departed grandmother has willed Delaney her once-popular tea room, the struggling artist boards a bus to Vermont. Facing a life of uncertainty and scratching out a meager living in New York City, she decides on the spot to reopen Grandma Marcy’s now-defunct tea room, which is conveniently located in a large Victorian house. In one fell swoop, Delaney now has a new home and business. Unfortunately, when a body turns up in her parlor, her plans to renovate and reopen the tea room are put on hold.
