Jonathan Maberry is a multiple winner of the Bram Stoker Award. His fiction includes the Pine Deep Trilogy, which began with Ghost Road Blues (winner of the Stoker Award for Best First Novel in 2006), continued with Dead Man's Song and concluded with Bad Moon Rising. Jonathan is a frequent writers conference speaker and has appeared at PennWriters, PhilCon, HorrorFind, BackSpace, Monster Mania, Philadelphia Writers Conference The World Horror Convention, LunaCon, Dragon*Con, Wildwood Writers Conference, University of Pennsylvania Writers Conference, and many others. Yet again another great collection of short stories from Jonathan Maberry. Everything I have read by him has been top notch. There was even a Sherlock Holmes story in this collection which I enjoyed, even though I despise Sherlock Holmes. Now to find copies of the Pine Deep Trilogy.......more
This was a small collection of short horror story. They were pretty good and had some twists to them. Creepy.......more
Great October listen. I liked some of the short stories more than others, but overall was pleased with the book.......more

Good collection overall. Like Part of the Family is one of the Sam Hunter stories. I like those stories a lot, which is why I got the collection in the first place. Good story. Doctor Nine was good. I liked it. It was occasionally a little ambiguous, and felt like it was a prologue to an entire book......more
