There are times when it is necessary to sweeten something so I gleaned a lot from this book. For quite a while I've told my kids I would rather they ate sugar instead of an artificial sweetener. If you eat, you should read this book. Dr. Mercola goes on about the history and industry of artificial sweetners and the FDA. You may or may not agree with his worries over artificial sweetners, but you should at least peek under the hood and see who the FDA actually protects and how it operates.......more
