Another Horatio Alger book with the usual theme: a young boy of the streets “rises” in the world through scrupulous honesty and hard work. He and a friend work together to prevent a robbery, but then they have to elude the would-be thieves, which gets to be really exciting. I thoroughly enjoyed this......more
