I was hunting for some easier chapter books to read to my 4 year old. This fit the bill as far as having a simple story line that was easy for her to follow. And actually, she thoroughly enjoyed it. Kylie Jean is a cute Texan girl. The story shows this through her grammar and phrases such as , "I am as happy as butter on a biscuit."
