Griffin & William E. Butterworth IV, #1 New York Times and Wall Street Journal Bestselling Authors "I was receiving an education that normally would take most career NCOs years to gain. I was being groomed for something but not sure for what. They knew I was getting out in a few months. The company of soldiers was the strongest feeling of friendship I had ever experienced. I wondered if it was because the stakes were always so high, the individual trust held tight but always given with purpose. We became one and counted on each other for everything."- Bill Fortin, Author & CEO, Cold War Publications, LLCSet in 1969 West Germany; the deployment of the newly developed Redeye weapon system is positioned in the 3rd Armored Division’s 1st/48th Infantry Battalion.
