About The Author

Minh Lê is the author of several children's books including Drawn Together, which won the 2019 Asian/Pacific American Award for Literature, and Lift which was an Eisner Award Nominee. I read through this while processing for my library and it hit me in the gut and made me cry like a Disney Pixar film. I didn’t expect to have that emotional response, but the book ends on such a happy note. This could be a great book to share with a child who ends a friendship or loses a loved one.......more
