Emily Calandrelli is an MIT-engineer turned Emmy-nominated science TV host. She is the host of her own Netflix show, Emily's Wonder Lab, and was a correspondent on Bill Nye Saves the World, as well as the host of FOX's Xploration Outer Space. Emily is on a mission to make science accessible for everyone, no matter their educational background. She is the author of the Ada Lace Adventures chapter book series.

Her passion lies in evoking curiosity in young readers to understand their emotions and surroundings better. I do not understand how an 11 or 12 year old girl could stay home alone. That being said, it was a good book. It taught of waiting for God's time and working hard to help your family. Also being honest with your friends and accepting help and prayer.......more
