Synopsis

Sometimes, it takes a cat to solve a crime…Max may look like your average chonky ginger tabby, but he’s got a big secret—he can communicate with his human, Odelia Poole, a reporter for the Hampton Cove Gazette. Along with his best feline pals, Dooley (sweet but clueless) and Harriet (a diva in fur), Max has a knack for sniffing out the town’s juiciest scoops—and occasionally, a murder. When a bestselling author is found buried in a long-forgotten outhouse, Hampton Cove is abuzz. But Odelia’s investigation hits a snag when a gruff new detective rolls into town. Chase Kingsley doesn’t take kindly to nosy reporters poking around his case. Worse? He’s brought a muscle-bound menace of a cat named Brutus, who’s determined to take over Max’s territory—including the affections of a certain white Persian princess. Now, it’s up to Max and his crew to outsmart the detective, catch the killer, and keep their tight-knit feline family from falling apart. Because in Hampton Cove, crime-solving is a team effort—especially when talking cats are involved.Purrfect Murder is the first book in the charmingly addictive Mysteries of Max series—a must-read for fans of whisker-twitching whodunits, quirky small towns, and feline sleuths with attitude!

Did you know a cat could shrug their shoulders, well Max says they can you just can't see it because of the hair. Great little mystery solved with the help of sle......more
