I've studied one or two psalms a week for the past few years using this three-volume series as a resource. It has greatly enhanced my enjoyment of the psalms and he has helped bring out many insights I wasn't aware of. usually we agreed.......more

At time I think James Boice can be a little dry, but I was pleasantly surprised by the volume on Psalms 107-150. Very helpful break downs of the text, and he almost always had a story or illustration helpful for preaching.......more
