She graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 1998, and worked for the Public Defender's Office for several years before striking out on her own. She is the author of the Southern California Legal Thriller series and the Harper Ross Legal Thriller series. Rachel lives in San Diego, California.
