Synopsis

An unexpected inheritance is most people's dream, but not so for Paula. She's happy and secure in Western Australia with her own business, a complete contrast to her rootless childhood, and has little interest in the minor stately home in Wiltshire of which she is apparently now the owner._x000D_
Persuaded to at least visit the property, she travels to the UK but from the journey to what awaits her at the other end, complications personal, romantic and financial abound which will test the adage that home is where the heart is.

About Anna Jacobs

Anna Jacobs grew up in Lancashire and emigrated to Australia, but still visits the UK regularly to see her family and do research, something she loves. She is addicted to writing and figures she'll have to live to be 120 at least to tell all the stories that keep popping up in her imagination and nagging her to write them down. She's also addicted to her own hero, to whom she's been happily married for many years. She is the bestselling author of over ninety novels and has been shortlisted for several awards, and Pride of Lancashire won the Australian Romantic Book of the Year Award in 2006.You can find out more on her website, www.annajacobs.com or on her Facebook page, www.facebook.com/Anna.Jacobs.Books.

Yes, the inheritance of Stovell Abbey is a bit convoluted, and who is who (would have liked to have seen a family tree......more

I do not know why this should be called a "Trilogy "? These 3 books have no connection to each other I was disappointed. I often buy "trilogies" expecting the story to continue in the numbers 2 and 3. This was deceiving. I read almost all of Anne Jacob's books and like her earlier books better.......more
