Synopsis

Up against an enemy unlike anything she’s ever faced.A simple recon mission in New York City brings a terrible truth to light: their enemy knows every secret Kenna has been hiding. She doesn’t want to accompany Preston to the UK, but doing so might give her the answers she’s been looking for. About everything. All her friends seem to think it’s inevitable she’s going, and when she’s given information about her mother … it just might be. Her investigation reveals a history she’s never known.Kenna’s case shines a light into dark parts of her past as she travels to the last place she’d have thought was connected to her history. Her faith and her loyalty to her friends are put to the test. She finds herself with new allies, all alone and on the run, chasing an enemy that could cost her everything she’s found. And the future she wants with Jax. Now it’s up to her brand of justice to solve this.

The story had a good premise, but faltered at the end. It was still engaging enough for me to stick with it until the end. I think teens that like baseball or the subject of time travel would enjoy this book.......more

Cute little mix of time travel and baseball history. Just a little bit too juvenile for me but an excellent book for a tween boy who loves baseball.......more
