It probably didn’t help that I had recently read a Warriors book, so I found Nimbus’s disdain for feral cats off putting. Somehow I never fell into the tone of this book; the cat emotions felt almost twee, the friendships with rats rather odd, and the plans of Nimbus never engaged me.......more
