The Mystery of Mother Meera

Throughout history there have been rare individuals who transcend what most of us believe to be possible: enlightened beings who have access to experience and knowledge most of us do not have. The Indian-born avatar Mother Meera is such an individual. Born Kamala Reddy to an illiterate family, she was from a young age observed to be different from other children—she would sit in the forest for hours on end without moving or uttering a word and soon began attracting a following of devotees who would arrive to sit in her presence. Believed to be an embodiment of the Divine Feminine, she doesn't preach, speak, or charge money, and is of no particular religion; instead, she gives light to those who seek her help. Known throughout the world for her abilities to undo "energetic knots" and to radically quicken the spiritual development of others, she has a center in Germany, where thousands of people visit her each month to receive her famous darshan, a silent blessing, and she has established a school in India for more than a thousand of the neediest students in the region.
