Tema says, "Mildred wanted to move to a different home and Sam built a bigger house and I liked everything about it." I thought it was a very cute story, entertaining, and easy enough for new readers to feel confident. The pictures were detailed and fun as well. A nice and quick library read.......more

Mildred and Sam are a mouse couple who live under the roots of a daffodil, which is pretty hardcore in the creativity department. But the two mouseys wanna move out, and certain areas in the forest are not good options. Like, living in the tree with the owl....not cool. Or even hanging with the home......more

This book is a very easy first chapter-book for any student. There are repetitive statements to help students stay engaged with such a long book, and shows a lot of different imaginative things. It explores different animals and flowers, and I would recommend this book for a library or for students......more

Mildred and Sam are two wondrous mouse creations who fit right in with Beverly Cleary's mouse heroes and the tales of Geronimo Stilton.
