This is an other great book in the SideWinders series. In this one the two saddle tramps Boe and Scratch, head in to a fronteer town in New Mexico called Whisky Flats. A good buddy story. Bo and Scratch are in their 40s and trouble has followed them always, but they have a good time. They are basically run out of town because they were killing gunmen that disliked them. A young 21 year old is about to be tarred and feathered for a scam. Bo and Scratch break it up.......more

Another great entry in the Johnstone line. Guns don’t stay in their holsters long, moving the story at a nice, brisk clip. Lots of action told with flowing, smooth prose makes this one a winner. Highly recommended for western fans.......more
