About Lisa Jackson

Born in Oregon in 1952, American author, Lisa Jackson, began her career in 1983 with her book, The Twist of Fate, and is still presently writing. She is a number one author on The New York Times bestselling list, writing more than 85 published novels. (She also uses the pseudonym of Susan Lynn Crose.)

As with many authors, Lisa began writing when she was a struggling mother, out of necessity to put food on the table. At that time, she probably did not realize that she would end up with a writing career putting her neck deep in romantic, murder mysteries. Lisa is best known for taking her readers to "the edge of sanity...... and back". Dangerous secrets, deadly passions, lies, clues, personal relationships.......all intertwined to create the terror and madness that can exist in the world.

Lisa is now a typical spoiling grandmother who loves her grandchildren and her little pug dog named Jackie-O-No. She loves old rock and roll, pop, and new country music. She leads a pretty quiet, fulfilling life in her native state of Oregon.......time with family, walks with her sister (also an author), coffee, crossword puzzles and great TV.

What sounded like a promising story sort of degenerated into 'how many bad things can happen to the main character in one single book' by about the third or fourth chapter. Lisa Jackson definitely has the earmarks of a good writer, but the massive tragedy that was the life of this poor cop in her boo......more

This was one of my personal reads. I love all of Lisa Jackson's books that I have read so far. I really thought I had this one figured out. But the killer I was wrong about again. The author always twists and weaves so far that when you think you've got it she takes a hard left. And then "Boom" mind......more
