Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are transformative technologies that are reshaping various industries. The concept of AI can be traced back to ancient mythology and stories of artificial beings. Modern AI began in the 1950s with pioneers like Alan Turing, who proposed the Turing Test, and John McCarthy, who coined the term "Artificial Intelligence" and organized the Dartmouth Conference in 1956, which is considered the birth of AI as a field.
Early AI research focused on symbolic reasoning and the development of expert systems that encoded expert knowledge into rules.
