The h compromises the very proper H. He's determined about getting to confess her reasons. She's a great heroine, who suffers pain from her actions as well as his. Lydia had to do what she needed in order to survive and even though I understand why, I also became frustrated with her as to why she wouldn't tell Isaac after she knew she could trust him. This turns into a battle of the wills with some seriously sexy punishment scenes.......more
