Synopsis

Brought to you by Penguin.

This book is a way to make small changes to feel better, even when under stress.

Stress is a normal part of life, but it can be overwhelming. The habits, tools and advice in these pages will help you cope better, to understand your own worries, and to pause and respond rather than react (we've all done it!).

This is all advice I've received - the lessons I've learned in my own up-and-down life, the expert conversations from my Happy Place podcast, and therapies I've tried - to keep working towards good days.

By focussing on small steps, practising self-awareness and getting creative with the exercises and simple ideas, daily tricks and practical tools in the pages of this little book, we can counterbalance our hectic world and unlock daily happiness.

About Fearne Cotton

Fearne Cotton is one of the best known and most popular broadcasters in the UK and is most recently known as the Founder of the wellbeing brand, Happy Place. The brand was created from her first book released in 2017, Happy, which was a Sunday Times Bestseller and a silver Nielsen Bestseller. This was the first in a series of books talking about her own, and some of the not so positive, experiences with happiness. This was also the premise for her podcast launched in 2018, Happy Place, and has featured an array of guest such as Ellie Golding, Hilary Rodham Clinton, Jada Pinkett Smith, Russell Brand, Gary Barlow, Alicia Keys, and Elizabeth Gilbert amongst others. To date, the podcast has had over 30 million downloads and continues to top the charts. 2019 saw a further extension of the brand into the live space, with over 10,000 people attending two Happy Place Festivals, one in the north and one in the south of England. The Festival went virtual in 2020, running over a month. Her third cook book, Happy Vegan, was published Autumn 2019. Fearne is a mother of two, and step-mother of two, and closely supports a range of charities - most notably mental health charity Mind, The Prince's Trust and Coppafeel!, the latter of which she curates the charity's music festival, Festifeel.

First Audiobook of 2024! Big fan of Fearne Cotton, but not a hugggeee fan of this sadly. It was okay! Nothing massively groundbreaking and didn't go into much depth (obviously, it's called Little Things). I found the 'change' chapter particularly random as it flitted between so many different types......more

Just finished "little things" ... What a lovely book. Now I'm quite biased when it comes to Fearne, I love all her books, I follow her Instagram and I have the happy place app. I'm a big fan I don't really think she can do any wrong. All her work within the wellbeing industry has really helped me ma......more
