Award-winning author, Clare Flynn is a former global marketing director. She lives on the south coast of England. Well written and interesting for I can't say I enjoyed this book, it was interesting and well written but sad and it unfortunately didn't have much depth to it. It was a historical story of one character's life back in the late 1800s. It had a very short lead in which I was anticipating would develop......more

Soulful Once again, Clare Flynn has brought me into the lives of two people. The writing is such that I felt a personal closeness to the characters, two young people in 1875ish who fall in love and are separated by circumstances beyond their control.
