The action takes place in a dive bar where Kip Trash and his longtime musical sidekick, named Sidekick, are on tour to promote Kip's greatest hits album, "Recycled Trash." Through storytelling and music the audience follows Kip's beginnings as a musical delinquent in Sour Note, Alabama through his multi-decade quest seeking fame and fortune. In the process, he hopes to reunite with his two ex-wives, Taylor 1 and 3 and Taylor 2 and 4, both of whom he's married twice. Kip's angst-filled songs include "You Can't Stick to a Girl with a Teflon Coated Heart," "I Like my Two Timin' Women Two at a Time," "Do the Fetal Position," "Opposites Attack," and "I Won't Take Your Lyin' Lyin' Down.
