Synopsis

Katie loves going to her Nanna’s. There always seems to be something magical there. One day whilst in her Nanna’s loft she finds a dusty old black case with a mirror inside. When finding out that the mirror is magical, she calls upon her family and her Great Nanna who used to be an explorer to find out what secrets the mirror holds. Chris Jagger is a devoted father of two daughters who adore his stories. Encouraged by his wife to put them into writing, he has now taken the leap to share his very first story. Although he wasn’t a top student and didn’t enjoy reading as a child, he developed a love for audiobooks. This passion inspired him to create his own audiobook, hoping to bring the same joy to other children. He sincerely hopes you enjoy his story and thanks you for listening.

About Frankie Porter

Frankie has loved narrating since the age of three, when she learned the appropriate points at which to turn the page in her illustrated copy of Old King Cole whilst reciting it aloud, and briefly fooled her mother into thinking she had somehow taught herself to read. Following an eclectic career in publishing that ranged from editing and cover design to script doctoring, she is finally back where she started: performing stories, for both independent authors and publishers such as Hachette, HarperCollins, and Spotify, and in genres from historical fantasy and romance to classic Russian literature. When not in the booth she teaches solo and partnered dance. She lives in Bristol with two partners and more books than can possibly be considered necessary.
