This is a simple story of a teenage boy discovering his magical abilities and becoming a powerful player in his medieval world's events. It is a slow and relaxing read. Characters and world building is interesting enough though it did not strike me as especially unique or unexpected. This book is more so something to read before sleep but definitely not (at least in my case) a "standing on the edge of your seat, excited and invested......more
