Interesting story, and thankfully none of it is spoiled in the previous books. Well, none of it that really matters. But even at the end of the book, we don't actually get the explanation why burendo are so loathed and considered so dangerous. I need the explanation!......more

This third book was the best yet. I loved Iroth and Maise as characters. This book gives a third view of the events of book one. Each book we get to know characters better but also get to know more about how they fit into the overall story. Now I just gotta go grab book 4!......more
