I loved this series, but figure that the author must have been in a really bad place in her life to have ended it this way. Relationships vague, like did she break up with Mac? she alludes to them never getting into a rhythm after he moves. It just seemed to leave loose ends and it left a bad taste......more

This is the last if the Callahan Garrity novels by Kathy Hogan Trocheck (Mary Kay Andrews) still on my to read list, and I would rank it as the best in that series. I am a reader after a good character, and the ones in MKA's books from early in her career until today always pull me into the story. O......more
