I managed to get hold of a 1920 edition of this book. Having been very familiar with his ‘in Flanders fields’ poem I was delighted to find other poems he wrote. However, the best part of the book was to read Sir Andrew McPhail’s essay, which brought to life the character and person behind the poems.......more
