Synopsis

A life-changing guide to noticing the small stuff, finding wonder in the simplest things, and becoming your happiest self, from social media phenomenon Timm Chiusano

A former corporate executive, an enthusiastic husband and dad, and a content creator beloved for his storytelling and real-world advice, Timm Chiusano lives his days to the fullest. Whether he is waking up (as usual) at 4:02 a.m., giving his free pep talks in the subway, or enjoying evening snack hour with his family, he treats each moment as something worth savoring.

In How to Get Addicted to Appreciation, Timm shares his philosophy for making the most of his time and building a joyful, purpose-driven life. Distinct from gratitude, appreciation, he argues, is foundational for enjoying and understanding the world around us—to be present, to be more comfortable with who we are, and to simply take in what each day has to offer. Blending stories of his adventures with thoughtful reflections and exercises, Timm shows how to harness the power of appreciation for the world around you and yourself. Through simple but powerful perspective shifts, you’ll learn how choosing to notice and value the good whenever you can, even during your most mundane or challenging moments, helps you embrace uncertainty, recognize your talents, and pave your own path toward fulfillment.

Heartfelt and wise, How to Get Addicted to Appreciation is an invitation to reconnect with the joy, surprises, and wonders of the everyday.
