This book is good and scary. Scary books don't bother me, but this one sure did. I had to quit reading it before I went to bed, brought on the nightmares and restless nights. I’ll have to read the God Factor Saga to see how the characters develop.......more

Houseguest is a chilling short story you won’t want to put down. For me, the word Houseguest stirs ideas of pleasant conversation, cozy fires, and warm beverages. House Guest is my first read by author J. Nell Brown. I wish I had known that it should have been read after Orphan Dreamer and the Glass Tattoo before I signed up to read it. I am not even sure how to classify this Novella. It had bits of history, paranormal, and religious tones to it. Well written......more
